OnePlus Nord 6 was introduced in India earlier this week as the first phone in the company's new Nord 6 series. Just a few days after its launch, this new smartphone is now available for purchase in the country through an online shopping site. The device comes in three colour choices and two different RAM options. The company is offering special bank deals and easy payment plans for customers. Powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 8 series processor, the OnePlus Nord 6 features a 9,000mAh battery. This phone also has a dual rear camera setup, featuring a main 50-megapixel camera. The price of the OnePlus Nord 6 in India starts at Rs. 38,999 for the basic model, which includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, the high-end model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at Rs. 41,999. There is also an immediate discount of up to Rs. 3,000 for customers using Axis Bank and HDFC Bank credit cards. Furthermore, buyers can opt for up to six months of no-interest EMI plans when using selected cards. The new OnePlus smartphone can be bought in India through Amazon and the official OnePlus India online store. The OnePlus Nord 6 is available in colours like Fresh Mint, Pitch Black, and Quick Silver.
The OnePlus Nord 6 is a dual SIM smartphone that operates on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. The company promises four updates to the operating system and six years of security patches for this phone. The new Nord 6 features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,272x2,772 pixels, offering a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, a pixel density of 450 ppi, a maximum brightness of 3,600 nits, 3,840Hz PWM dimming, and protection from Crystal Guard. It is rated IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K for resistance to dust and water. The OnePlus Nord 6 is powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, along with an Adreno 825 GPU, offering up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 256GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. To manage heat, the company has incorporated a vapour chamber cooling system that has a heat dissipation area of 33,147 sq mm. In terms of cameras, the OnePlus Nord 6 has a dual rear camera system, with a 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8) that uses a Sony LYT-600 CMOS sensor and has optical image stabilisation (OIS). This main camera is paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera (f/2.2) that includes an OmniVision OV08F sensor and a field of view of 112 degrees. On the front, there's a 32-megapixel camera (f/2.0) designed for selfies and video calls, capable of recording videos in up to 4K at 60 frames per second.
The OnePlus Nord 6 comes with a large 9,000mAh battery that can quickly recharge with 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging, allows 27W wired reverse charging, and includes bypass charging. Additionally, it has a fingerprint sensor under the display for security purposes. The phone has dimensions of 162.5x77. 5x8.5mm and weighs approximately 217g.
