Veteran actor Suriya prefers to stay far from controversies and the actor has been quite simple, calm going till date. Suriya along with his brother Karthi supported the protestors of Jallikattu which has been a massive sensation across Tamil Nadu. The actor stepped out and offered his support for the massive protest. PETA revealed that the actor is just supporting Jallikattu to promote his upcoming film Singam 3 which has been aimed for Republic Day release.

The actor has been quite disturbed with the comments of PETA and decided to slam them with a legal notice. He sent a letter address PETA and it CEO asking for an apology in a week after receiving the letter. The actor also informed that he will proceed legally if he is not issued an apology at the earliest. Suriya’s next titled Singam 3 directed by Hari has been slated for January 26th release. Anushka and Shruti Haasan are the female leads.
