Boat has introduced the Storm Call 4 and Ultima Vogue 2 smartwatches in India. These new devices come with USB Type-C charging, meaning that users can charge them using the same cable as their smartphones and tablets. Boat states that the Storm Call 4 and Ultima Vogue 2 are the first smartwatches in India to use Type-C charging. Both smartwatches allow for Bluetooth calls and have a 1.96-inch touchscreen. They contain a sensor for measuring blood oxygen levels (SpO2) and offer more than 100 sports modes. They are rated IP68, making them resistant to dust and water. The Boat Storm Call 4 is available for Rs. 1,599, while the Boat Ultima Vogue 2 is priced at Rs. 2,799. The Boat Storm Call 4 can currently be pre-ordered from the company's website in colors like Active Black, Navy Blue, and Steel Black. Sales for the watch will start on June 12. The Boat Storm Call 4 has a 1.96-inch HD screen with a resolution of 240x282 pixels and brightness that goes up to 500 nits. It features a usable crown for navigating through its interface. The battery, with a capacity of 300 mAh, is said to last up to 12 days on a single charge.
The Boat Ultima Vogue 2 also has a 1.96-inch AMOLED display, but it is advertised to reach up to 1000 nits of brightness. This smartwatch has a shiny metallic frame. It promises up to 10 days of use from one charge. Both the Boat Storm Call 4 and Ultima Vogue 2 include USB Type-C charging. They both have IP68 ratings for dust and water protection. Each model supports Bluetooth calling and has more than 100 sports modes. They come equipped with sensors for tracking heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2). The devices can analyze sleep and monitor stress levels. Additional features of the Boat Storm Call 4 and Ultima Vogue 2 include Emergency SOS support and tracking for women's health. The smartwatches also provide over 100 customizable watch faces. They have functions like Find My Phone and Quick Replies. Furthermore, the smartwatches can manage reminders and basic features typical of smartwatches. Users can control music and the camera of their linked smartphone through these devices.
